Michael Jacober was born and raised in Rhode Island and his love of food began in his mom’s garden. He spent summers working at the Clarke Cooke House in Newport, RI and – after graduating from Penn State with a degree in Restaurant Management – Michael moved to Paris to pursue his culinary passion. Next stop was NYC, where Michael continued working in kitchens (Per Se, Insieme, Annisa, and Franny’s) before launching The Morris Truck in 2011. Glady’s was soon to follow, opening its doors in 2013. When not on the truck or at the restaurant, Michael can be found helping out his wife at Queens Farm.

Director of Operations

Ben Latham hails from East Hampton, New York. Growing up, Ben’s father grew all the vegetables his family enjoyed right in their backyard. It was these seasonal offerings and Ben’s father’s commitment to freshness that inspired him to begin cooking. Ben’s degree in Environmental Economics from Bates College helps the Morris Food truck reduce its carbon footprint and helps the team stay locally minded (Ben’s dad’s produce can sometimes be found in the very sandwiches sold on the truck!)

Truck Manager

Mona grew up in Boston and Truro, Massachusetts. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. Shortly after moving to New York, she found the Morris Truck. When she is not on the truck listening to Bruce Springsteen, you can find her teaching yoga or printing for a small home-goods company.
